With all the rush and hustle of life these days, Jamie has taken over much of the night-time reading. He and Cassie snuggle up in a bed and he reads pretty much whatever she picks. He has come such a long way, and makes Candy and I so proud! He even does voices and you can hear emotion in his voice while he reads through the story.
He is (usually) such a great big brother!
Brianna reads to my little one often too…even in the car, which is a nice distraction. It’s nice when the older one will “take over” the reading…it builds their reading skills, take a load off you and is one of the GOOD things the young ones learn from their older siblings.
Brie does the voice inflections when she reads aloud too. Probably because that’s something I’ve always done for her when I read aloud. I hate hearing a monotone reader…make it exciting and interesting already!
