Jamie came home with this last week – his first piece of school work. Kind of neat to see him write out his favorite things (take that, Oprah!)

Now, let me say that Tom is by far the hardest person to wake up in this house. If he is not ready to get up, he is not getting up. I don’t care if a parade goes marching through the bedroom. Just too bad.
So, as per usual, he needs to get up and isn’t getting up and I’m annoyed… so, I send in the big guns. Oh yes, dum-dum-dum…. the children! And I give them permission to HOP ON POP.

But it worked. Mission accomplished. Tom is awake (and the kids got tickled, but hey, he’s awake!)
