This past Sunday, we decided to go out for breakfast. Jamie wanted to stay home, but we all wanted to go, so he lost out… we then further upset his apple cart by going to a new place instead of the regular IHOP (Village Inn closed which totally screwed up everything – long story for another day). Anyway, we couldn’t remember what time they opened (was it weekend or weekday that they do breakfast?) so we were talking about it and we hear:
Cassie, all bright and sunny: “I really hope they are open!”
Jamie, all emo-kid like: “Well, I kinda hope they are closed.”
We all just cracked up. Even Jamie smiled just a little bit. And he ended up LOVING his breakfast. So there.

I LOVED Village Inn. Haven’t seen or been in one of those in years! Best omelets EVER. i’m not a huge fan of IHOP. Love the picture of him.
Jamie’s face here scares me a bit. Maybe we can use this picture for collection calls. “We’ll send this one after you…”
