You have to know your camera and anticipate the subject, especially kids. I have grand ideas of how the pic should look in my head but the execution doesn't always work out because the kid moved too quick, lighting, etc. congrats on the honor! I don't think I'm that good yet... I need some better lenses - all those are taken with low end lens equipment (Lenses are where you spend the most money - Tom groans when I even LOOK at them!) Thank you though, that means a lot. I get lucky sometimes and learned a lot in the few classes I took. I want to take another class in the Fall after the Summer insanity is over! @Carlie – LOL!
