Valentine’s Day evening, Tom came up with the idea to dip strawberries, banana and grapes with the kids (we refuse to go out on V-Day, too many people and it’s INSANE, not to mention babysitting cost, ouch! – we go out plenty enough) Anyway, we had a really good oriental meal that night (Tom so totally rocks!) and then this. They kids had the greatest time!
I got the required flowers… but I always get Tom something, just something silly, it’s kind of a tradition that’s developed over the past few years. This year he got a USB powered beverage cooler (it’s a cold pad thing that plugs into his computer to keep his can of coke cold) and some Astronaut food! A freeze dried chicken dinner and a freeze dried ice cream sandwich for dessert! SWEET!
Sounds like a fun Valentines day. I spent mine eating pizza at my desk that I’d ordered online and had delivered. Sigh. Yeah, my life sucks sometimes. LOL
I want the chocolate covered strawberries though…yum!
