I’m old. Well, too old for clubbing, I fear… *laugh* The Blog Blowout was a lot of fun. We had dinner at Cuba Libre, which was actually really nice. We had a whole lounge/room to ourselves, and, of course, the company was absolutely fabulous. Afterwards, we froze our asses off as we went to Light Bar, which was okay. At least the music wasn’t deafeningly loud and you could kind of hear people. I can’t wait until FUG Thursday to see how many FUG this one lady that was there (not with our party)… *laugh* you’ll have to wait for pictures on other’s blogs to see.

I wanted to ban pictures, drunk people with cameras flashing (and me seeing spots) *laugh*. So there will be a LOT of pictures. After that, a lot of the ladies wanted to go dancing so we froze our asses off again and headed over to Vicci. I’m not much into dancing – I did enough drinking and dancing when I was in my 20′s… I’m kind of over that now *laugh*.

We stayed an hour or two before a group of us headed out to IHOP for an early breakfast. I enjoyed that much more, truth be told. Yeah, I was slightly still drunk until I got some food in me, but I definitely like the more relaxed atmosphere. Tangerine’s is much more my style, mixed music (usually 80s-present) and a little more loungey. Anyway, so I feel old after seeing these 22 year olds dancing and probably not feel like someone ran them over with a mack truck today.

WHAT is with the weather? It was in the low 30s all last night. They shut down parts of MoPac because people were skidding all over the place. It took us a little longer to get home because Dy (my designated driver, who rocks!) was smart and we took Lamar all the way down to avoid any overpasses/bridges – hello, we live in a warm weather climate. NONE of us know how to drive in that crap. Hopefully it warms up soon… this is too freaking cold!
